Planning and funding are separate decisions
We can discuss expected costs and available pre-funding arrangements, but recording wishes does not require pre-payment. Contract terms, price protections, cancellation and transfer provisions depend on the agreement and applicable state law.
Expected costs in writing
An advisor can prepare an itemized estimate based on today’s choices. Future prices, guarantees and funding protections depend on the written contract, the provider and applicable state requirements.
A plan that can be reviewed
Preferences and family circumstances change. We recommend revisiting the written plan periodically and after a move, a change in relationships or a major change in wishes.
