Cremation Services
Direct cremation, cremation with visitation or a service, urn selection, permanent placement, scattering guidance and memorial keepsakes.
IN PRACTICE
Cremation can be arranged with or without a funeral, visitation or memorial service. We present each option with the same care and explain the timing, authorizations and costs before you decide.
Ways to arrange cremation
Options include direct cremation, cremation following a funeral service, cremation with visitation, or a memorial service held after cremation. A ceremony may take place at Wrenford, a place of worship or another meaningful venue.
Caring for cremated remains
We can help you consider urns, permanent placement, burial of an urn, scattering where permitted and memorial keepsakes. Local rules and property permissions may apply to scattering choices.
Authorization and timing
Cremation requires written authorization and, depending on the circumstances and state requirements, a waiting period or additional permits. We explain the sequence and confirm when cremated remains may be returned.
A memorial before or after
A visitation or funeral may take place before cremation, while a memorial gathering may take place afterward. Families may also choose a private farewell with no public ceremony.
